I was discussing gratitude with my coach yesterday. She said something to the effect of, “When we have gratitude, it creates miracles.” I consider myself to be a very grateful person. I appreciate both the small and large things in life regularly, as well as everything in between. I write down what I’m grateful for almost every day, and I try to say “thank you” as often as I think it to those in my life. I sat down this morning to write thank you notes to several of my clients, coaches and colleagues that have touched me. As I wrote, I thought of more and more people to whom I’d like to express my gratitude. And then, in a coaching session with a client, she had the most insightful breakthrough. It was a big one; the kind that sends shivers up and down my spine. It made me even more grateful for the amazing clients with whom I get to work. I work with people who are really ready to dig in, to invest time, energy and effort into becoming the people they want to be. It isn’t always easy; in fact, it’s rarely easy, but it’s powerful. I am so thankful for my brilliant clients, their insights, their growth, and their willingness to share their journey with me. I am so fortunate to be a part of their discovery of who they truly are and what makes them feel happy and fulfilled. We attract more of what we give our attention to…. What are you grateful for today? How can you share and express your gratitude?
